The Vancouver-based ground transportation company adds three new vehicles and updates its booking system ahead of the upcoming peak travel period
KJ Limousine Services Inc. has added three luxury SUV vehicles to its Whistler route fleet ahead of the 2026-2027 winter travel season, bringing the total number of vehicles dedicated to the Sea to Sky corridor to eight. The company completed the fleet expansion in late July, citing year-over-year growth in advance bookings from both corporate clients and families traveling to the Whistler resort area.
The expansion follows a 22 percent increase in Whistler-bound bookings recorded in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, according to the company's internal reservation data. KJ Limousine Services has operated private Whistler transfers since 2014, focusing on door-to-door service from locations across Greater Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport. The fleet addition is the largest single expansion in the company's Whistler route since it began offering the service 12 years ago, reflecting broader demand for private ground transport along the corridor.
"Our advance bookings for the upcoming winter season are already ahead of last year's pace, which led us to add capacity earlier than we normally would," said Hing Jong, owner of KJ Limousine Services. "The Whistler corridor has unique driving conditions and scheduling demands during the winter months, so having additional vehicles in the rotation allows us to maintain consistent availability without overextending our existing fleet. We have also invested in an updated booking system that lets customers see real-time availability and confirm their reservations instantly, rather than waiting for manual confirmation during peak booking periods."
Each of the three new SUVs is equipped with roof-mounted cargo carriers that accommodate ski and snowboard equipment for groups of up to six passengers. The vehicles also include government-certified child safety seats available upon request, covering rear-facing infant seats, convertible 3-in-1 seats, and high-back booster seats for older children. The company updated its online booking platform in August to show real-time availability across the expanded fleet, allowing customers to select specific vehicle types and confirm same-day and next-day reservations through an automated system rather than relying on phone calls or email coordination during busy periods.
KJ Limousine Services serves clients across the Lower Mainland with regular routes connecting Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Surrey, and Langley to the Whistler corridor. The company's total limo fleet now stands at 14 vehicles, including executive sedans for business travelers, five-passenger SUVs for groups and families, executive vans for larger groups and stretch limousines for weddings and special events. Every vehicle undergoes daily pre-service inspections and is professionally cleaned after each booking.
